Prior to 1972, the results of the work of the technical committees were published as IsO Recommendations; these documents are in the process of being transformed into International Standards. As part of this process, ,Technical Committee ISO/Tc 72, Textile machinery and accessories, has reviewed isO Recommen- dation R 141-1960 and found it technically suitablc for transformation. iSO International Standard ISO141 therefore replaces Recommen- dation R 141-1960, to which it is technically identical. IsO Recommendation R 141 had been approved by the member bodies of the following countries : Austria Portugal India Belgium Romania Ireland Bulgaria Italy Spain Canada Japan Sweden Chile Netherlands Switzerland Denmark United Kingdom New Zealand Norway France U.S.A.
